As we gear up for a busy remainder of our year, we’re excited to share some big news with you: Morgan Martinez has joined The Lafayette Company as Executive Vice President.
Morgan brings abundant experience to The Lafayette Company. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Communications, Membership, and Public Engagement at InterAction, the largest coalition of international NGOs with 170 nonprofit members. Previously, she was the Deputy Director of Public Affairs at the International Republican Institute. Throughout nearly two decades in communications, she developed her expertise in key positions in Republican political campaigns and strategic consulting.
As a recognized expert in communications, Morgan has spoken at Harvard University’s Institute of Politics and has earned award nominations for her breakthrough approaches to PR. She’s also employed her expertise globally, delivering advanced communications training across more than a dozen countries spanning Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
She’s a graduate of the University of the Pacific, where she held leadership positions in Kappa Alpha Theta (Phi Chapter), which is more great news for The Lafayette Company’s expanding client roster of Greek organizations. She and her husband, Alex, live with their daughter, Nell, in Alexandria, Va., where they are parishioners at the Basilica of St. Mary.
At The Lafayette Company, Morgan will manage our client portfolio and our growing team of employees and contractors. She’ll also take a leading role in business development.
