Matthew Wende is an account manager at the Lafayette Company, where he brings experience in media, research, and strategic communications.

Before joining Lafayette, Matt gained work experience with ABC News London. There he researched and drafted stories that reached millions, developing a complex understanding of messaging and its audience. That experience, combined with a B.A. in International Relations from Tulane University, gives him a command of global and domestic political media dynamics.

Originally from Long Island, Matt now calls Washington, D.C. home. When he’s not at work, you’ll find him on the golf course or reading a book about history.
